Well we are back from another fantastic WGW (well, actually we came back last wednesday, just haven't had chance to post anything yet)
We had a great time and met a few new friends as well as seeing some old ones.
We went to the Spa on friday and saturday night, as well as attending the Unscene Tea Party and the beach party which were all great fun. We did want to do the Forum Walk but we ended up not going and decided to go to the Bizarre Bazaar instead.
To be honest i didn't really seem to buy this much this time. I think i'm quickly beginning to realise that a lot of the stalls have the same stuff on them that they had the last wgw. Not to mention that we didn't actually get a good look around because it was SOOOOO busy and chaotic, along with friends wanting us to go do stuff with them, my shopping time was cut short...not that that's a bad thing.
Off the top of my head i remeber buying....a corset, 2 umbrellas (i have an unhealthy obsession with umbrellas at the min), some new Whitby Jet Earrings, a Victorian Whitby Jet Brooch, Moi Dix Mois's new album, a Dir En Grey album, a cardigan (i was cold on saturday) a fleece coat (i was cold on sunday), a scarf, gloves and ear muffs (i was cold on monday), a pewter bat pin badge, a cuddly bat keyring, 2 living stone plants, the Whitby Gazette, Fish & Chips Ok...i bought more than i thought i did.
Oh yes and Mina. I bought a hamster....yes...another one. She was born and bred in Whitby by the guy who owns the pet shop near Thorntons. She's ginger and white and she's 5 months old. I apropriately named her Mina because of the Whitby/Dracula link. Yes i know very clique but i like the name. Mum knows about her but my dad doesn't yet although i'm not sure how much longer i will be able to keep it a secret because i plan on buying her a new bigger cage. At the minute she is in Kikyo (Cow)'s old cage.
I'll put pics of Mina in my next post which is going to be my whitby photos post.
Now i'm back to work and everything seems so hard. I thought it would be good to get back to work after a week off, but to be honest i've had a rough few days at work and i think i've just found it hard to adjust back. It's like Whitby is in a time warp or something...everything seems to go so slowly, yet the days pass so fast. Then when you get back home you are basically thrown into what seems like the deep end...only to realise that you are not doing any more work than you did before you went.
